M5 Junction 26 Re-Profiling
Setting out and survey engineering for a National Highways carriageway re-profiling scheme, delivered across three night shifts under full closure.

A carriageway re-profiling scheme on the M5 at Junction 26, part of National Highways’ works to resolve a known flooding hotspot — planing and resurfacing so the carriageway falls cleanly into a new drainage line.
Design resolved before construction
InfraTek worked through the design ahead of the works and resolved the problems in it before they reached site, rather than discovering them during a live closure.
Volume calculations for the helix
Complex volume calculations for the road helix gave the client accurate quantities for planing and surfacing ahead of the shifts.
Setting out under pressure
Levels were set out live ahead of two planers and a paver, to millimetre tolerances, on a live motorway working nights only.
As-builts the same day
Handover drawings were issued the same day the works finished — as-built levels compared directly against design, so the client could see the finished profile was right without waiting days for the paperwork.
